Born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Tanya spent many years in New York City performing on Broadway, Off-Broadway and regional stages, until her career ultimately lead her to be living in Venice, California for fifteen years, and now resides in Vancouver.
Spanning over two decades, Tanya Clarke’s illustrious career is marked by a rich tapestry of performances across various genres, from poignant drama to uproarious comedy. Among her most notable film credits is her role in the critically acclaimed 2004 drama “A Beautiful Mind,” directed by the visionary Ron Howard. In this Academy Award-winning masterpiece, Clarke portrayed Alicia Nash, the steadfast and supportive wife of mathematician John Nash, played by Russell Crowe.
