With Vancouver’s booming film, animation and gaming industries, there are several districts within a stone’s throw of Vancouver Acting School that a large portion of creative industries gravitate to including: Fairview, Mount Pleasant, Kitsilano, the West End, Downtown, English Bay, and Strathcona.

HOMESTAY COMPANIES
If you’re an international or domestic student, homestay may be an option for your stay in Vancouver. You will have 3 meals per day and a private room.
TRANSPORTATION
Getting to Vancouver Acting School is a breeze. Our convenient location offers many transportation options for you to choose from. Taking public transit to class at VAS is a convenient option for many of our students, as we are located within walking distance to many main bus routes as well as 3 SkyTrain stations. We are also located on a main bike artery, and have a Mobi Bike Share station located directly outside of our front doors. Please see various transportation options below.
PUBLIC TRANSIT
TransLink, the regional transportation authority, provides transit services within the City of Vancouver and across the Metro Vancouver region. BIKE SHARE PROGRAMS
Mobi is Vancouver’s public bike share program. There is a station of bikes located directly outside of our front door. There is approximately 1,500 bicycles available at 150 stations throughout Vancouver. Mobi is the official bike share program for the City of Vancouver.
CAR SHARE PROGRAMS
Need a car, but don’t own one? Join a car-sharing organization to gain access to hundreds of vehicles that you can rent by the minute, hour, or day. Vehicles are conveniently located throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland region, and can be reserved online, by smartphone app, or over the phone.
CARPOOLING OPTIONS
The Jack Bell Ride-Share database connects you with people who travel a similar route. You can register as a driver or passenger for free.
