The most integral part of this intensive class that I’ve been left with is a sense of community. Sometimes the world of film and television can seem intimidating, but with a good arsenal of friends, mentors and colleagues, I feel empowered, and enthusiastic. At VAS, my community supported me everyday, and acted as though my future success as an actress was an absolute. We learned from one another, and grew, and I feel stronger, and confident as a result. The land of Film and TV doesn’t seem so intimidating anymore, because not only has the intensive instilled me with a great foundation of skills to keep me grounded, it’s also given me a great community of people to help support me in my continuing journey…

I’m just completing my first ever acting class – Fundamentals with Jeff Evans-Todd. I didn’t know what to expect and was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of this course and the improvement I found in myself and my classmates after just 12 weeks. I learned so much about the craft, how much preparation goes into turning in an engaging and honest performance and even about myself.
Jeff Evans-Todd was incredibly knowledgeable and was really invested and passionate in teaching newcomers to the industry. He very often gave heart-felt advice and encouragement. I really appreciated the thorough warm ups at the beginning of each class that got us ready for a day of work!
